Product Description
Kothimora means khukuri/kukri having silver scabbard. The case is exclusively designed using pure silver filigree with top quality velvet background. Different beautiful patterns are carved having cultural and traditional values using only domestic tools. It is a very special and old type of khukuri used for ceremonies and given as gifts to mark respect and appreciation. Regimental kothimoras are slightly different than the ordinary kothimoras. They are a size bigger (11 inch), more silver and high quality velvet of different color are used depending on the regimental flag. One unquie thing with this kothimora is the regimental badge on the top of the case to identify which regiment it represents so a gurkha officer having served a long period with this regiment is likely to recieve this kothimora with his regimental badge on it for his loyal service. There are seven different regiments with the "Brigade of Gurkhas". This one is the RGR (Royal Gurkha Rifles)
